Summer
Camp Registration has begun!
This
summer we again have a great lineup of resident camp programs for campers as
young as five to vacationers into their 80s. Traditional weeks offer a
variety of activities such as nature activities, campouts, fishing, crafts,
dances, hikes in the woods and much more. Our sessions for children are open
to children with and without disabilities. Campers may want to invite a
friend, brother or sister to attend with them.

Raffles Support
Programs
Every year
Friendship Ventures raffles two special items – a handmade quilt and a week
at Gunflint Lodge. Throughout the year supporters purchase raffle tickets to
help those we serve and have a chance to win. Winners were chosen for these
two raffles at the Friendship Ventures Auxiliary holiday party in December.

Friendship in Action - The
Next Step
Over the past two years, we have introduced 400 new
individuals to Friendship Ventures through Friendship in Action Tours at
both sites. At the tour people with little knowledge of Friendship Ventures
hear parents of participants share their stories. Guests walk the camp, see
campers busy at their activities and hear Friendship Ventures success
stories. Our stories and the impact of our programs have moved many people

We
extend an invitation for you to visit and see "Friendship in Action".
Friendship Ventures offers "Friendship in Action" tours at Camp Friendship
and Camp Eden Wood, allowing visitors see exactly what our programs have to
offer and how much our participants love being here.

Friendship Ventures is a non-profit agency that creates unique educational, recreational and social opportunities for people of all ages with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We also offer conference and retreat services and professional team-building programs to the communities we serve. Friendship Ventures operates Camp Friendship near Annandale, MN and Eden Wood Center in Eden Prairie, MN.
