Friendship in Action - The Next Step Over the past two years, we have introduced 400 new individuals to Friendship Ventures through Friendship in Action Tours at both sites. At the tour people with little knowledge of Friendship Ventures hear parents of participants share their stories. Guests walk the camp, see campers busy at their activities and hear Friendship Ventures success stories. Our stories and the impact of our programs have moved many people on these tours. To follow up with those who have been on a tour, Friendship Ventures hosts breakfast and lunch presentations. Guests enjoy a complementary meal, hear from parents about the benefits of programs for their family and meet others who are passionate about Friendship Ventures. Guests have an opportunity to make a commitment to the organization by volunteering or donating. These events help Friendship Ventures share our story and enlarge the circle of friendship. Two Friendship in Action luncheons are scheduled this spring – April 27 at the Holiday Inn St. Cloud and May 18 at the Bloomington Sheraton Hotel. Both will be at 12 noon and last one hour. To register or receive more information, call Catt Barbre at 952-852-0109 or email. |
