Many donors have given generous contributions to Friendship Ventures this spring. Special thanks for these donations:

The Minneapolis Foundation gave $2,500 for scholarships for summer camp. This grant came from the Santa Anonymous and Walter Boutel Funds.

Lands’ End gave $1,500 for scholarships.

The Kopp Family Foundation gave $1,500 for scholarships.

Cummins Power Generation, a Minneapolis company, gave a $3,000 grant for scholarships.

The Blandin Foundation, Grand Rapids, MN, gave a grant to give financial assistance to participants from Itasca County.

Friendship Ventures is a non-profit agency that creates unique educational, recreational and social opportunities for people of all ages with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We also offer conference and retreat services and professional team-building programs to the communities we serve. Friendship Ventures operates Camp Friendship near Annandale, MN and Eden Wood Center in Eden Prairie, MN.
