Staff Reunion June 25
The all-staff reunion is only about a month away! If you ever worked at Camp Friendship or Eden Wood Center for a camp, respite or travel program, join us June 25 as we celebrate. Come back to reacquaint yourself with the camp, see the changes, meet up with old friends and relive your fun experiences.
This year check in at either Eden Wood Center or Camp Friendship at 1:00 p.m. Those checking in at Eden Wood Center will receive a tour of the site, reminisce awhile and are then invited to join the rest of the reunion festivities at Camp Friendship. During the afternoon, past staff and their families can swim in the pool or lake, take a canoe, paddleboat or pontoon ride, walk through the Uncle Fogy Nature Center, participate in a scavenger hunt or arts and craft activities, try out group games and initiatives with the Team Quest staff, visit the canteen or tour camp.
At 5:30 p.m., there is a dinner and program, and the evening ends with a campfire, songs and skits at 7:00 p.m.
We are creating a 2005 Reunion photo album, so if you plan to attend, send a recent photo of yourself or your family along with your camp-era photo to Joanne Fieldseth, 9543 Park Place Drive, Monticello, MN 55362. Bring along old photos, staff T-shirts or any other favorite mementos. To help stock camp for summer activities, bring old prom dresses, suit coats and hats for dress-up and drama play. Or donate games, puzzles, radios or other supplies.
Consider posting a message or memories on the alumni website before the reunion, whether you plan to attend or not. The message board will be accessible all day for those attending to write their thoughts.
The reservation form is posted on the website. Reservations for overnight accommodations are listed in the staff alumni announcement.
