Summer Camp, the Fun is in the Photos
The summer may be over, but it has left us with great memories! We had another memorable summer camp season this year - offering 100 sessions among the three sites. Horseback riding was again the most popular session. Especially well received were new special sessions I Love Critters, Theatre in the Park and the expanded day camp at Eden Wood Center. Favorite activities were water fun, camp pets and the dress-up dance on the last evening.
Words cannot describe the fun, the friendships and the new adventures Friendship Ventures camps provided this summer. A camper new to our programs gave us our summer slogan, “Camp is like heaven but without the angels, just trees.” We’re gratified to know that camp gave our participants such happiness.

Friendship Ventures is a non-profit agency that creates unique educational, recreational and social opportunities for people of all ages with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We also offer conference and retreat services and professional team-building programs to the communities we serve.
