Winter Camp Registration has Begun
It’s time to think about winter, or at least to plan for Winter Camp at Camp Friendship. Registration has started for sessions running December 27-31 and January 2-6. Like last year, broomball will rule at the Broom Ball Classic session, and dancing will be the main activity during the Foot Loose session. Tie dying is being added to the Jazzy Jewelry session activities. New this year is Memories of Friendship, where participants will create their own memory books. Participants from all sessions will also have the chance to play in the snow, sled, go cross country skiing or snowshoeing, try ice fishing and enjoy warm indoor activities.
The fun continues all the weekends in January at both Camp Friendship and Eden Wood Center with Winter Weekenders. Start the new year having fun with friends and new winter experiences. Applications are accepted and registrations are processed right up to the beginning of winter camp…but remember sessions fill quickly. Scholarships are available for those who need assistance. Individuals who have already completed an application for 2005 resident camp or respite care can use the short form for registration.
